| SEDAR 7 developed an assessment of red snapper in the Gulf of Mexico. Two assessment workshops were held because an acceptable stock assessment could not be prepared during the time alloted to the first assessment workshop. The Data Workshop convened April 19 - 23, 2004 in New Orleans, LA; the first Assessment Workshop convened August 16 - 20, 2004 in Miami, FL; the second Assessment Workshop convened December 13 - 17 in Miami, FL; the Review Workshop convened April 4 - 8, 2005 in New Orleans, LA.
