The Fisheries Ecosystems Branch (FEB) performs research focused within the Southeast U.S. Continental Shelf Large Marine Ecosystem in support of an ecosystem approach to fisheries management.

The FEB is divided into two groups:

Fisheries Biology and Ecology group
Southeast Fishery Independent Survey (SEFIS) group
